JVC to Present Cinematic Theater Experiences at CEDIA Expo 2026

JVC CEDIA

JVC Projectors, Home Theater, part of the Visual Systems division of JVCKENWOOD USA Corporation, is set to showcase its latest D-ILA home theater projection technologies at CEDIA 2026 in Denver, Colorado, Sept. 1st–4th, at Booth #3511.

JVC said it will demonstrate how home theater performance goes beyond brightness, requiring a balanced combination of contrast, color and resolution across the entire image. JVC projectors analyze every frame of HDR content in real time, automatically identifying peak brightness levels and adjusting the dynamic range on a scene-by-scene basis. JVC’s D-ILA projectors are engineered to deliver a finely balanced image that preserves detail from the deepest blacks to the brightest highlights.

JVC’s booth will feature two immersive theater demonstrations that employ the DLA-NZ900 and DLA-NZ800 8K D-ILA projectors, highlighting the performance of 8K
projection for cinematic entertainment and responsive native 4K/120p for large-screen gaming.

The main theater cinematic 8K demonstration will feature the VC DLA-NZ900 8K D-ILA projector with JVC’s proprietary 8K/e-shiftX technology, JVC’s exclusive BLU-Escent laser light technology that aims to deliver a 150,000:1 native contrast, as well as over 33 million pixels on a 165-inch Stewart Filmscreen StreamPro multi-masking screen and the latest firmware enhancements.

The gaming theater demonstration will feature a JVC DLA-NZ800 8K D-ILA projector utilizing JVC’s proprietary 8K/e-shiftX technology, 100,000:1 native contrast for strong image depth and detail, native 4K/120p gaming with Auto Low Latency Mode, designed to automatically minimize input lag for a smooth and responsive gaming experience. The demonstration also employs a 100-inch Screen Innovations Slate screen, optimized for the immersive gaming environment and a live soccer gaming demonstration, allowing visitors to experience the responsiveness of ALLM firsthand on a large display.

Featured partners at the JVC booth will include: Stewart Filmscreen, Paradigm, Engage Engineering, Panamorph, Screen Innovations, Elite HTS and Kaleidescape.

“CEDIA is an important opportunity for us to demonstrate not only the picture quality of our latest projectors, but also how they perform in real-world home entertainment environments,” said Jamie Pasley, general manager of JVC home theater projectors. “With the DLA-NZ900 and DLA-NZ800, we are showing two different sides of the 8K and native 4K experience —from uncompromising cinematic performance to highly responsive large-screen gaming.”
