Legrand AV announced the availability of the Wiremold 4 ft. OFR Overfloor Raceway Base & Cover (OFRBC-4), an addition to the OFR series data and AV distributors.

The company said that as AV systems continue to scale across corporate, education, government and hybrid-work environments, integrators need infrastructure that installs fast and adapts to architectural constraints, and that this product fits those needs.

The company listed the features of the OFRBC-4: it installs directly over existing floor coverings, it separates power, data and AV pathways within four dedicated pathways, it has an aluminum base and steel cover and it maintains compatibility with existing OFR accessories.

“Customers told us they needed the performance of the OFR Series in a format that better fits today’s deployment and shipping realities,” said Alyssa Adnani, senior product manager, power and furniture, Legrand | AV. “The 4 ft. OFR Raceway delivers the same safe, organized, four-channel pathway integrators rely on. It’s about making infrastructure easier to ship, easier to install, and easier to scale.”

Legrand AV said the product serves as a protected pathway for power and signal cabling between racks, displays, display stand solutions, cameras, lecterns and control devices.
