nanocosmos announced the launch of nanoStream Control, the new security and control layer within the nanoStream platform.

The company said this layer was designed to give operators and organizations stronger protection and the ability to detect and stop issues in real time. This comes during an uptick of content misuse, unauthorized access and stream hijacking from iGaming to enterprise communications.

“Real-time streaming without control is a growing risk for operators,” said Oliver Lietz, CEO of nanocosmos. “With nanoStream Control, organizations can detect, intervene and protect their streams instantly, not after damage has already occurred.”

Key features of the product include token revocation for instant access control, detection and blocking of unauthorized access, referrer allow-lists for embedding control, real-time monitoring and anomaly detection and forensic data/watermarking for content protection.

The solution also provides advanced analytics such as dashboards, geographic insights and client-side metrics designed to optimize stream quality and user experience. The company said the data-driven approach provides operators with visibility, security and operational control over real-time streams.

nanoStream Control is part of the nanoStream platform, which includes nanoStream Live for ultra-low latency delivery and nanoStream Studio for AI-powered video enhancements.
