Q-SYS Introduces ServiceNow Integration to Connect AV and IT Workflows

Q-SYS has announced a new integration with ServiceNow aimed at helping organizations better align audiovisual system management with enterprise IT operations. The integration connects Q-SYS system data with the ServiceNow AI Platform to support automated workflows across large-scale enterprise environments.
The integration is delivered through the Q-SYS Reflect application, which is available in the ServiceNow Store. Q-SYS participates in the ServiceNow Partner Program as a Build Partner, allowing it to develop and distribute applications directly on the ServiceNow platform.
According to Q-SYS, the integration automates the flow of AV system data into ServiceNow, enabling organizations to manage AV technologies using existing IT workflows. Supported use cases include IT Service Management and IT Asset Management, with the goal of reducing manual processes and simplifying support operations.
The company said the integration can enable automated ticket creation, inventory updates and system visibility without requiring separate tools or extensive retraining of IT staff. By integrating AV system data directly into ServiceNow, organizations can manage AV assets alongside other enterprise technologies.
“This partnership bridges AV and IT, empowering enterprise customers to unlock new efficiencies and elevate the support experience for AV systems through seamless integration with the ServiceNow AI Platform. This is the first step in a deeper collaboration that will bring even greater capabilities for Q-SYS and ServiceNow customers,” said Christopher Jaynes, chief technology officer at Acuity Intelligent Spaces.
As part of the ServiceNow Partner Program, Build Partners develop applications that extend the platform’s functionality through tailored configurations and integrations. Q-SYS said its role as a Build Partner reflects a broader strategy to align AV operations with enterprise IT standards and platforms.
The integration is positioned for organizations that already rely on ServiceNow for service management and asset tracking and want to bring AV systems into those same processes. Additional information about the integration is available on the Q-SYS website.
