Rants & rAVes — Episode 1523: Xyte Talks Agentic AI, OpenAV Cloud and the Future of AV
In our latest pre-InfoComm episode of Rants & rAVes, I spoke with Omer Brookstein, founder and CEO of Xyte, about the evolution of connected AV devices, the growing role of agentic AI and why open ecosystems continue to be a major focus for enterprise customers.
During our conversation, Omer explained how the industry is moving beyond simple device visibility and toward automation, proactive management and AI-driven workflows. We also discussed OpenAV Cloud, open APIs, managed services and why organizations increasingly want the flexibility to mix and match technologies rather than being locked into a single vendor ecosystem.
Omer also shared his perspective on the trends to watch at InfoComm 2026 and how AI can deliver meaningful outcomes rather than simply serving as a marketing buzzword.
