Samsung Electronics America has introduced the WAFX-P, a premium interactive display designed for education and enterprise environments. The new model integrates built-in collaboration tools and Samsung AI Assistant features to support classroom engagement and workplace productivity.

The WAFX-P includes a built-in 4K camera, integrated microphones and dual 20-watt speakers to support hybrid instruction and meetings. Samsung said the display enables classrooms to connect with remote participants and guest speakers while maintaining clear audio and video quality. Built-in Live Caption generates on-screen captions for audio and video content to improve accessibility.

“Participation in hands-on activities remains one of the strongest indicators of student engagement, with recent research showing that 71% of K–12 educators rank it as a key measure of active learning,” said Dr. Micah Shippee, Director of Education, Display Solutions, Samsung Electronics America. “The WAFX-P is designed to foster active collaboration in group settings, delivering smarter, more intuitive experiences that drive greater connections and productivity wherever ideas take shape.”

Powered by Android 15 and an octa-core CPU, the WAFX-P allows educators and business users to access apps and multitask without interrupting workflows. Samsung said the display integrates with tools such as Google Classroom and Google Drive, allowing schools to incorporate the system into existing lesson plans and materials. The model is available in 65-, 75- and 86-inch sizes.

The display also introduces AI Assistant features, including Circle to Search, AI Summary and Live Transcript. Samsung cited research indicating that 66% of students believe AI can help them learn faster, while 53% of teachers see potential for time savings and personalized learning. The AI tools are designed to help educators organize information and capture key points during lessons.

For interactive learning, the WAFX-P supports dual-pen functionality, enabling multiple users to write and annotate simultaneously. The display offers 450 nits of brightness and supports up to 50 multi-touch points. A paper-like writing experience captures variations in stroke and pressure, according to the company.

In corporate environments, the WAFX-P supports simultaneous screen sharing from up to nine devices. A 3-in-1 USB-C port enables touch control, screen connectivity and device charging through a single connection. Samsung said the display is designed to support in-person and hybrid meetings as more organizations return to office settings.

The system also includes Samsung’s on-premise Device Management Solution for centralized control of devices and app settings across campuses. Organizations can use the platform to update on-screen content, distribute announcements and display emergency alerts.
