Savant has announced an integration with the Schlage Encode family of smart Wi-Fi deadbolts. Savant users can monitor alerts, send lock and unlock commands from the main screen and add camera feeds or personalized lock and unlock notifications.

According to Savant, Schlage Encode locks are also compatible with voice commands and Savant Scenes as part of the new integration.

The Savant Door Lock Service within the Savant App aims to enable users to lock or unlock doors and view the status of any door lock. Push notifications are also configurable for when a door locks or unlocks. Savant said that integrators can add a camera feed for each lock for homeowners to view he doorway. The door locking feature can be activated as a part of a Savant Scene.

Savant said that the solution from the two companies aims to create value-add options that elevate home security and convenience.
