SiliconCore and BrightLogic demonstrated native touch interaction on fine pixel pitch
LED displays during InfoComm 2026.
The demonstration included a large form touch-enabled 2.6mm pixel pitch LED display with
embedded IR driving interaction across an extended 1.2mm fine pixel pitch LED floor
Canvas. The companies said that it also aimed to display how interactive experiences can be delivered across large-format LED installations while maintaining high image quality and visual performance.
SiliconCore said that the solution was developed in partnership with BrightLogic and aims to combine SiliconCore’s latest RGB+1 driver with BrightLogic’s TouchController PRO platform.
“Along with BrightLogic, we are architecting a more integrated and responsive way to engage interactive dvLED environments,” said Eric Li, CEO of SiliconCore. “Our RGB+1 driver chip technology is paving the way of innovation for the next generation of dvLED to create active interfaces by integrating IR, opening up new avenues of responsiveness and modularity for the touch market. The response from visitors at InfoComm confirmed the growing demand for interactive experiences delivered at increasingly higher resolutions.”
SiliconCore said that the solution was demonstrated through interactive content experiences that allow users to engage with the LED surfaces first-hand. The company said that the technology is suitable for experience centers, corporate environments, simulation spaces, command and control facilities and entertainment venues.
The technology aims to provide flexibility by enabling interaction on a touch-enabled LED display and driving visual responses across a wider fine pixel pitch canvas. The company said that the SiliconCore 2.6mmXR/IR is designed to be efficient, responsive and positioned
for the next generation of interactive displays.
“Large-format interactive environments present unique challenges in terms of responsiveness, scalability and user experience,” said John Scarpa, president and CEO of BrightLogic. “By combining TouchController PRO with SiliconCore’s LED technologies, we demonstrated how touch interaction can be extended across expansive LED canvases while maintaining the speed and accuracy required for demanding interactive applications.”
