Almo Pro AV Now Accepting Orders for Audio-Technica D50 Wireless System
Almo Pro AV is now accepting orders for Audio-Technica’s D50 Digital UHF Wireless System, with shipping models expected at the end of September.
Audio-Technica introduced the D50 at InfoComm 2026. The system is designed for high-density RF environments and applications including corporate AV, education, government, houses of worship, theaters and other live sound environments.
The D50 uses antenna summing and Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) technology to improve RF stability across the available UHF frequency range. Its high-density capabilities are designed to support more wireless microphones in environments with limited RF spectrum. The system also supports Dante networking, allowing multiple channels of digital audio to travel over a single network cable.
Almo Pro AV said it will provide access to its in-house Audio Team for technical and business development support. Its LinkLab Services division can help with system design, programming, commissioning and labor.
“Integrators need access to new technology and they also need to know how to put it to work. Almo Pro AV gives integrators a complete crew behind the technology all in one place,” said Rob Voorhees, director of business development at Almo Pro AV.
“Seeing the D50 at the E4 Experience this fall will give integrators looking for new audio a big advantage. They can spend meaningful time with the technology and talk directly with our experts to get their questions answered,” said Voorhees. “It’s an effective way to evaluate what’s right for their projects with the added bonus of not having to travel.”
“We received tremendous feedback on the D50 when it was introduced at InfoComm in June and we look forward to showing the first shipping models at Almo Pro AV’s E4 Experience this fall,” said Jeff Beck, regional sales manager for Audio-Technica.
“We are confident that between Almo Pro AV’s deep distribution network and talented internal technical and service teams, integrators will be able to get the D50 into their projects quickly and with great success.”
The D50 will be demonstrated at Almo Pro AV’s E4 Experience events in Dallas on Sept. 15 and Boston on Oct. 15. The Dallas event will be held at the Westin Dallas Park Central Hotel, while the Boston event will take place at the Boston Marriott Newton. Both events are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
