AtlasIED is unveiling the AIX platform at ISC West 2026, designed to enhance security and situational awareness.

AtlasIED said the AIX combines audio, visual notification, multi-sensing and intelligent edge capability into a single platform, simplifying infrastructure while expanding capability.

ONVIF compatibility enables AIX to integrate into standardized IP-based security ecosystems. PoE++ architecture aims to provide the necessary power capacity for larger displays and higher audio output. The platform also includes a SIte Manager software that aims to enable centralized device discovery , configuration, monitoring and firmware updates.

New capabilities such as advanced gunshot detection and cameras that detect weapons can be added over time. AIX is also designed to evolve with advancing AI-based security technologies.

Integrated environmental sensing allows AIX to monitor conditions such as temperature, humidity and indoor air quality, delivering actionable insights into occupant comfort and safety.

Other key features of the platform include RGB+W fully addressable lightbars for clear, customizable visual alerts, a 12-inch high-lumen display and a speech-optimized, 6.5-inch two-way driver for clear announcement audio.

AtlasIED said that AIX integrates seamlessly with leading third-party notification and communication platforms, including InformaCast, Syn-Apps Revolution and GCK.

The AIX platform includes a self-test feature so operators can be confident their public communication system is ready for an emergency. AIX is also equipped with multi-language support so visual messages can be delivered in the language that’s most appropriate for the facility’s occupants.

The initial AIX ecosystem launch includes loudspeakers, visual displays, LED flashers, expansion modules and accessories.
