Bond Expands Outdoor Control Offering Through StruXure Partnership
Bond announced that luxury pergola and cabana brand StruXure is now selling a suite of solutions powered by Bond.
The suite consists of four products: the StruXure-branded device hub, on-wall keypad, an outdoor universal smart remote control and a Bond-branded outdoor wind/rain/sunlight sensor.
“With this joint initiative, together Bond and StruXure make specifying, ordering, and installing all that is required for control of Pergola X and Evolve series much easier. Dealers purchasing these solutions from StruXure are guaranteed that they will work natively with Bond,” said Bond CEO Zohar Shinar.
The StruXure RF-to-WiFi Bridge is a result of collaboration between the two companies, which said it was designed to bring fingertip and voice-activated control to the pergola’s motorized louvers. This product can be controlled from the Bond Home smartphone app.
The StruXure Sidekick 5-channel on-wall wireless keyboard can be programmed for individual or batch control of the StruXure motorized louvers. The product is battery-powered and communicates to the louvers via radio frequency.
Also offered is the Bond Mate Pro, a wet-resistant, outdoor remote control. The product is a 15-channel RF remote with a transmission range of 200 feet.
The Bond Breeze Pro is also available from StruXure. The wind, rain and sunlight smart sensor can be programmed to trigger multiple louvers.
The companies said that these products are designed to bring control to a vast system of RF-operated motorized window shades, screens, awnings, ceiling fans, plus outdoor heating systems.
