madVR Labs has announced the next generation of its Envy video processors, introducing the Envy Extreme MK3 8K-48G, Envy Pro MK3 8K-48G and Envy Core MK2 8K-48G. The lineup features HDMI 2.1 with full 48 Gbps input and output, NVIDIA GPUs, and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support up to 360Hz, positioning the products for both high-end home cinema and advanced gaming applications.

The Envy Core MK2, starting at $5,995 through the end of 2025, includes an NVIDIA 5060 GPU, expanded CPU power, doubled RAM and 8K-ready HDMI 2.1 support. A Core Premium package unlocks additional features, including Dynamic Subtitle Overlay and extended warranties.

The Pro MK3, priced at $10,995, replaces the Pro MK2 and supports 5K and 8K upscaling with future AI algorithms. The flagship Envy Extreme MK3, powered by NVIDIA’s 5080 GPU, offers MotionAI interpolation, geometry correction, and a five-year warranty, retailing at $15,995.

The models are the first video processors to support HDMI 2.1 with full 48 Gbps throughput on input and output, as well as VRR for smoother, low-latency gameplay with systems such as PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X and gaming PCs.

“Our mission is to push the boundaries of video processing and deliver the ultimate picture quality for our customers, while ensuring it remains user-friendly and intuitive,” said Richard Litofsky, co-founder and CEO of madVR Labs.

The company also announced a major software update scheduled for Fall 2025. The update will roll out to all Envy models, introducing Dynamic Subtitle Overlay, multi-lingual menus, enhanced gaming modes and DeinterlaceAI.

Pricing and upgrade options for existing Envy owners will be announced closer to the MK3 release this fall.
