Kaleidescape to Celebrate 25th Anniversary at CEDIA Expo 2026
Kaleidescape announced that it will celebrate its 25th anniversary at CEDIA Expo 2026 with the debut of its Strato K movie player and conversations shaping the future of premium home entertainment.
The company previously launched Strato K – the world’s first 8K-certified movie player featuring the company’s new 4K Cinematic movie format. Kaleidescape will feature Strato K movie players powering three demo screens with Terra servers storing the demo content. Strato K offers a new 4K Cinematic format, with full chroma sampling and much higher bitrates.
Demos will be conducted with an 18’-wide Quantum Media Systems LED Wall , a Sony 98-inch BRAVIA 9 II True RGB 4K HDR display and a Samsung 85” Neo QLED QN990F 8K TV. The booth will also feature Trinnov Audio Altitude16 processors with Meyer Sound Ultra X20XP loudspeakers and X400C subwoofers, as well as AudioQuest HDMI cables.
At Sound Room 2120, Kaleidescape will display the new 4K Cinematic format in a home cinema environment. aleidescape has partnered with Sony, KEF, Stewart Filmscreens, Panamorph and Acoustic Innovations to display a premium theater. The room will feature Kaleidescape’s flagship Strato K movie player, with high-fidelity 4K Cinematic and native 8K capabilities delivering reference-quality video and lossless audio.
At Sound Room 10, the company will demo a luxury home cinema environment powered by StormAudio. Kaleidescape joins Christie, Seymour Screen Excellence, madVR Labs, ASCENDO, AcustiMOD, Officina Acoustica and Moovia to showcase a premium theater environment. The room will feature StormAudio’s Fusion 20 processor alongside Kaleidescape’s Strato K movie player, aiming to bring premium picture and immersive lossless audio together.
Kaleidescape said that Quantum Media Systems will demonstrate their Quantum XDR 8K Micro LED Display wall with TPI Speakers and electronics with a StormAudio processor, showing the cinematic quality that can be achieved in a high-end home cinema with Kaleidescape as the source.
The Kaleidescape 25th anniversary celebration is set to take place Sept. 2 4:00–5:00 p.m. at Kaleidescape Booth #3706. The Kaleidescape Smart Stage Panel will explore the secrets behind high-end home cinema and how it utilizes today’s audio and video advancements to truly “feel real,” taking place Sept. 3 from 2:00-2:45 p.m.
