Sound Devices is set to showcase its solutions at InfoComm 2026. The company said that it will demonstrate the Sound Devices Astral Wireless ecosystem, including the brand new Astral Mini Plus compact wireless transmitter pack, for touring, live theater, and fixed installation use cases, as well as the latest features added by the V8.30 Firmware Update.

The new Astral Mini Plus features upgrades such as an eight+ hour battery life, full 169-1525 MHz global tuning range, IP67 water resistance and improved usability features for faster setup times and seamless operation. The company said that the solution aims to provide flexibility ideal for live touring, theater and fixed RF integrations.

Sound Devices said that it has also added new features to its entire Astral Wireless range with firmware update – which streamlines Astral’s workflow with more flexible routing options and full AstralComm integration with SoundBase. SoundBase aims to provide engineers with a streamlined workflow monitoring and adjusting Astral Wireless devices during coordination.
