Camtasia Launches Camtasia Editor for Zoom Meeting Recordings

Camtasia today introduced its Camtasia Editor for Zoom meetings. The app aims to provide more options for sharing recorded meetings at work. The solution transforms meetings into professional, high-quality videos.
Users are able to connect Zooms accounts securely for importing cloud recordings directly in the Camtasia Editor. Each recorded layer including video, shared screen content and audio, can be processed and edited separately. The layers are then launched into the streamlined Camtasia Rev workflow for enhancing the layout, background, camera framing and filters. The company also said that users have the option to preview and apply different visual styles, adjust speaker and screen views and add modern design elements.
Camtasia said that customers with a subscription plan that includes Camtasia Editor can access Camatasia Audiate, which includes AI-powered text-based video editing. This aims to allow users to transcribe Zoom recordings, search dialogue, eliminate hesitations and cut out unnecessary parts.
The Zoom Marketplace App is available in Camtasia Editor 2026.1 and later.
“Zoom hosts a large number of meetings each year, which means there’s often a huge amount of valuable content sitting in people’s accounts that doesn’t get used to its full potential,” said Tony Lambert, CTO of TechSmith. “Camtasia is making it effortless to turn those recordings into professional, shareable videos through our AI-assisted workflows. That helps teams cut through the flood of daily Zoom Meeting recordings by transforming them into content people can reuse—whether that is product demos, internal updates, webinar replays, or training videos.”
