DMF to Showcase Artafex 1 at CEDIA Expo 2026
DMF announced it will bring its ‘Artful lighting for everyday luxury’ philosophy to CEDIA Expo 2026.
According to DMF, attendees will experience how the Artafex line of luxury lighting solutions including the new Artafex 1, offers multi-use solutions for every application, from a single room to an entire home, while integrating with popular control systems.
DMF said the booth will also feature the latest outdoor and landscape lighting solutions from sister brand HK Lighting, extending the same approach beyond the home’s interior.
Artafex 1 is a one-inch downlight and adjustable fixture built to disappear into any ceiling while anchoring ambient, task and accent lighting throughout a home.
At the heart of the fixture is DMF’s 3-Stage Optic, a one-inch aperture that delivers up to 750 lumens while controlling glare from a nearly invisible trim, with tunable white and warm dim options for softer, more livable light wherever it’s needed.
DMF said that when paired with its Artafex PhaseX digital lighting control technology, Artafex 1 offers true tunable white lighting, with flicker-free dimming delivered over standard electrical wiring rather than specialty low-voltage cabling.
A remote driver powers up to five fixtures from up to 100 feet away, and both the driver and light module are tool-free and fully accessible from below the ceiling plane, so integrators never need to reopen a finished ceiling for service.
DMF will also showcase Artafex Linear, its half-inch architectural linear lighting system for under-cabinet, cove, millwork, and accent applications.
“Integrators aren’t just asking whether a lighting fixture performs, they’re asking whether it works well with the control system they’ve already standardized on, whether that’s Crestron, Control4, or another popular system,” said Bryan Biga, vice president of Residential Sales at DMF Lighting & HK Lighting.
“Our commitment to artful lighting for everyday luxury extends beyond the fixtures themselves. It means giving dealers the flexibility to specify a consistent lineup of fixtures, integrate with the control platform they trust, and deliver exceptional lighting performance across virtually every application.”
DMF will also hold Artafex PhaseX training sessions at CEDIA Expo 2026. Three one-hour sessions will be offered each day: Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and Thursday, Sept. 3, at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The sessions will take place at the Hyatt Regency Denver in Mineral Ballroom B-C and cover Artafex PhaseX technology and products, including the new Ethernet PhaseX Gateway.
Attendees will learn how to deploy, commission and integrate Artafex PhaseX with popular control systems. Advance dealer registration is required.
