MediaMatrix to Demo SCION DSP Operation at ISE

SCION

Peavey Commercial Audio’s MediaMatrix division will showcase its DSP, audio-over-IP and control platform, SCION, at ISE 2026. The new system will be demonstrated publicly at the event for the first time in an end-to-end workflow.

The Peavy Commercial Audio stand will display an audio system powered by Crest Audio loudspeakers and the new CiP loudspeaker range. The event will showcase the system’s processing power, flexibility and scalability for a variety of spaces.

SCION serves as the latest evolution of MediaMatrix’s networked-audio architecture which features input-through-output routing and processing as well as AES67 streaming via sNET, improved control logic and backward compatibility with NION-based installations. The company said that SCION was designed for airports, stadiums, hospitality, theme parks, convention centers and corporate settings.

“By combining the heritage of MediaMatrix with modern audio-over-IP workflows and a new
generation of amplification and loudspeakers, we’re giving consultants and integrators a toolkit that’s equally at home in a single venue or a multi-site global deployment, ” said Shayne Thomas, General Manager, Peavey Commercial Audio.

Peavey Commercial Audio will also display the CPL+ loudspeaker range. CPL+ is compatible with EASE and CLF2 software and is currently shipping. It will be accompanied by the CG line at ISE and the CiP loudspeakers. The loudspeakers are scheduled to ship at the end of Q1 2026.

The S-Series ecosystem will also be presented at the showcase alongside SCION in an effort to highlight SCION’s integration capabilities with I/O modules, control interfaces and third-party devices. The ecosystem was designed to support complex installations and investment protection. The demonstration will be powered by the sNET and nWare modules in which attendees will experience high-capacity management of AES67 audio distribution.

“Quite simply, SCION is the most powerful and future-ready DSP platform we have ever developed, and ISE 2026 is the perfect stage to demonstrate what it can do,” Thomas said. “Showing SCION in combination with our new power over ethernet, CiP loudspeakers highlights how easily integrators can design scalable, consistent and fully networked audio systems for modern projects.”
